My father passed away on June 29, 2002. One week after the funeral I was still devastated (I am very much a Daddy’s girl) and felt like I was dying so I put my son in the car and said let’s go somewhere. Without knowing where or why…I ended up at a motorcycle shop in Cartersville, GA. I bought a Honda (Black) Rebel 250. I still don’t know why but I am really glad I did. I rode the bike home feeling like the world was lifted off my shoulders and I could just feel Daddy looking down on me with a concerned smile on his face. Train said I was crazy and had totally flipped out. He could not believe I was doing this (Nor could I). |

| I kept the Rebel for 1.5 years and traded it in on a Honda (Red) Shadow 650. That is when I meet and joined the Southern Cruisers Riding Club. Not only did I ride with the group but Train and I enjoyed many miles of riding together (since he went out and purchased him a bike after I did) on this bike. I kept this bike for a little over a year before getting my new and best bike yet. Train bought me a 2006 Yamaha (Charcoal/Grey) V-Star 650. It is a beautiful bike and fully dressed out just as I wanted it. I was on only my second group ride on my new bike when the tragic accident happened. |

I joined the SCRC in July of 2006 when Pooh Bear was 1st Officer and have been an active member ever since. Only a couple of days after I joined he asked me to be the Secretary/Treasures of our group and I gladly accepted. I have made many friends and met some of the most wonderful people anyone could ever hope to meet. I love the Lost Mtn. group and I love the SCRC as a whole. Due to health reasons and the accident of 2007 I am not able to ride my bike as much as I once did, but my love for my beautiful bike or the SCRC has not faltered. |

My favorite place to go is to the Beach!! Any beach will do. I do love Florida
but any water just gives me a feeling of peace and relaxation like only the bike
can give. The most fun ever was the ride on the bike from Daytona to St. Augustine.
That was the perfect bike ride with my perfect mate, Train/David.
I have two kids, Cindy 33 years old and my 18 year old son, Jake. I have two beautiful grand kids, Alexis 5 and Trey 4. They fulfill my life. I am so blessed. I have all the riches anyone could ever ask for and more! My husband, my children, my grandkids, my extended family and the SCRC!!! |
